I did not have much use for this Blaupunkt tube radio (I do not remember the model number).
It featured MW/FM/SW and received well enough on each for a 60 year old tube radio.
The buttons had a nice punch to them. I found I didn't listen to it but I can't say why that is. It seemed to me more decoration than instrument.
I've got that same exact radio; it's the Blaupunkt 21053. The volume control is extremely finicky on mine, though it gets better when you crank it up. Good sensitivity and great sound quality (when the volume control is cooperating).
ReplyDeleteHint: There are two RCA jacks on the back of this model, towards the bottom-right. The top one is an output, while the bottom one is an input. If you get a 2-to-1 RCA adapter and a RCA-to-headphone-mini-jack cable, you can connect an iPod or any other MP3/CD player to this radio!!
